*PLEASE READ ALL CLASS DETAILS BEFORE REGISTERING*

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT

  • An AR15-Pattern rifle in good working order.

  • Rifle MUST be equipped with an optic. Red-Dot/Holographic (with or without magnifier), LPVOs and Prism-Style optics are all good-to-go.

  • *TWO-POINT* Rifle sling.

  • Minimum of 4 rifle magazines with a capacity of NO LESS THAN 30 rounds.

  • Range belt with at least 1 rifle magazine pouch.

  • Chest-rigs and armor carriers are permitted but not recommended for this class.

  • Eye and ear protection in good working order.

  • 500 rounds of rifle ammunition (minimum, feel free to bring more if you’d like.)

  • A good attitude!

STUDENT EXPECTATIONS

This is not an entry-level class. To be permitted to participate you must already:

  • Know how to safely load, unload, reload, and handle your rifle.

  • Know how to safely clear a malfunction in your rifle.

  • Have decent shooting fundamentals.

  • Be able-bodied and capable of sprinting and intense movement up to 25 meters.

Although you are not required to be excellent, or even “good” at shooting to participate in this class, it is highly recommended that you take our Pistol Fundamentals Class or Dynamic Pistol Skills Class before this one. Equivalent training is accepted on a case-by-case basis, reach out before signing up. Any competitive classification equivalent to or greater than USPSA B-Class is also good-to-go.

TRAINING OBJECTIVES

By the end of this class, you should have a better understanding of:

  • Proper rifle mount (grip).

  • Adapting known fundamentals of shooting from pistols to rifle platforms.

  • How to move efficiently and aggressively with your firearm.

  • Applying different movement techniques on a contextual basis.

  • Inductive training concepts and identification of specific technique deficiencies in real-time.

These concepts and your practice of them will unlock a new level of rifle shooting performance and enable you to engage in training between these platforms more efficiently and effectively.
